Darren and the Metro Team recently installed a new panel box in our home and corrected an issue we had with an outside driveway lamppost. They provided clear instructions what would be done, executed the work flawlessly and cleaned up like they were never in our home. We were so pleased with their work we also called them back to work on our pool panel box that was in desperate need of repair. It is truly nice to find an electrician who keeps his word, performs what is expected and explains things in a manner anyone could understand. They are now my only go to electrical company!!!!!

Darren and I spoke this morning about wiring a 120 outlet behind my electric oven to accommodate upgrading to a gas oven and range. He had extra time in his schedule to do the work DAY OF, and was here in a flash with everything he needed to get the job done well and incredibly quickly. I'd had a VERY difficult time getting an electrician to answer the phone, but hit the goldmine with Darren. He answered, scheduled me for a Monday appointment, then offered to bump me up to Sunday when he had an opening. Service extraordinaire. And efficiency--he was very respectful of my time, incredibly professional, GREAT conversationalist, and went above and beyond to make sure my experience was excellent. A+!

Had to upgrade older two prong outlets to three prong as well as add a 220 outlet for a stove and one other normal outlet in the kitchen. Work was done quickly and efficiently and was reasonable enough on the price. Owner seems to care about customer experience and was quick to come back to address a minor issue after the work was done. He also fixed a problem with a previous installation of a Mini Split AC unit that had been installed incorrectly (that would have damaged the unit over time). He also did this without adding to the bill. Overall a good experience and work was done well and quickly.

We had a TV installed above fireplace so wiring had to be ran down inside wall. We also had light fixtures installed. They did an excellent job and would recommend them to anyone. They were on time and very cordial. They definitely aim to please. Pricing is excellent.

Darren and his team did a great job on my personal home! They switched out all my outlets and lights switches from the nasty creamy color to the nice and clean white switches. In doing so, they also rewired all my outlets and switches. Then they installed 23 recessed can lights throughout my home! This was a big job and they were in and out in only 2 days! They were very clean and left minimal sheetrock work to be done by the painters. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will be hiring them again to complete all my electrical projects. We were in desperate need of an electrician and the first reference we called could not come out for over 4 weeks. I called Metro and spoke to Darren and he was able to fit us in late Saturday afternoon. (One day later) He was on time, very nice and courteous and did an excellent job. The cost was extremely reasonable. I highly recommend!

completed installation of new dishwasher due to need for hard-wiring from prior dishwasher (N.C. code?) in lieu of what came with the dishwasher - a 3-prong plug. Friendly and professional, also training young men in the profession. They completed the 1/2 finished install that "came with the white glove deal" from BJ's.

Darren DeGouff of Metro Electric came out to our home same day we called. We were concerned about the electric being supplied to the Gazebo that was dry and falling down. He came, removed the power to it, showed me behind the panel and even took the time to cut the pipe conduit and bury it into the ground. Polite, professional and fast. Great worker!

This is the best experience I've ever had with a contractor period. Darren went above and beyond to solve our problem quickly and efficiently. When he recognized that it was a safety issue, he rearranged his schedule so the problem was fixed before something terrible happened. He even did extra work just to make the house look great. I'd highly recommend him. He was also incredibly reasonable priced. You won't regret choosing him!

We used Metro Electric for some work at our last house as we prepared to sell it and had him back out to do all of the electrical work for our new detached garage. Darren has been so easy to work with and really stands by his work, and I would highly recommend this company!
